Adsense Earnings Per Click
How do I make sense of AdSense?
So I added AdSense to my blog – http://dclhome.blogspot.com/ and has had mixed results. One day, there were 4 clicks and $ 2 in earnings. Another day, 10 clicks and $ 0. Why? I guess it's not as simple as $ 0.01 per click. Can someone explain how the work AdSense (ie how do I know how I can win) or provide a free resource that is useful? Thank you
You're right – Adsense is not clear. Unlike banners when you know how much is one click (Let 1 € per click) and you know your percentage share (this may be for you 60% and 40% for the network), with Adsense you do not have the info on the actual click and you do not even know the sharing of profits with Google. One important thing to remember: In terms of earning money on Adsense, your mileage varies. A site with 10,000 unique visitors a day can earn $ 50 a month, while another may earn $ 5,000. It is not easy to predict how much you earn AdSense. The only way you can learn about how your site will perform with Adsense is through trying it. The amount you can earn depend on the 1. The responsiveness of public ads = A travel website that provides information on travel to Spain will attract visitors looking for ways to organize their travel and spend money on their vacation in Spain. Your site provides information, but the ads will provide hotels, travel agencies, destinations Tourist Car Rental – ads that are likely to attract the attention of users of your site. This is a site that will most likely do well with Adsense. However, if you're a gaming site where the main purpose of the user is playing on your site, then Adsense will not perform as well. 2. format = Ad certain types of ads are better than others depending on your content and presentation. In our case, large rectangles in the middle content is the best, while the rankings do not generate as much as income. Skys are the worst for us. Experiment and measure results through channels and see which formats work best for you. 3. Ad placement – check Google's heat map as they have tested where the best investments is https: / / www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=17954&ctx=en:search&query=adsense+ heat + map & topic = 0 & type = f 4. Ad colors – sometimes ads blended with the content of wonders, but sometimes ads that contrast your site colors work best 5. Number of sets ad on a page = we are allowed a maximum of 3 ads + 1 ad links + 1 search box on a page. Maximize the allowed number based on the appearance resulting from your page (you do not want an overkill of ads). Users accessing the page and reading your content may ignore the banner or rectangle top of the page, but can click on the ad at the bottom of article 6. Smart Pricing – the big unknown in Adsense. Nobody knows how it actually works. But it can affect the price of ads on your site. If the advertiser paid for $ 0.50/click – but your site is smartpriced – then the cost can be reduced lower (eg $ 0.25). Thus, you can try to develop a site based on high paying keywords but if smart pricing is you, then you can not get as much per click as what you expect of your keywords. Here is the explanation of Google smart pricing https: / / adwords.google.com / Support / bin / answer.py? answer = 9562 & query = + smart pricing & topic = 0 & type = f Google's smart pricing feature automatically adjusts the cost of a click on a keyword-targeted content based on its effectiveness compared to a search click. So if we find a click from a content page is less likely to turn into business opportunity – online sales, registrations, phone calls or subscription the newsletter – we reduce the price you pay for that click. Experiment with the factors above (except smart pricing, you can not control), and see what combination works best. Remember however that all sites do well with Adsense – even if you are gazillions of traffic but your visitors do are not interested in finding ways to spend their money, they are not interested in your ads and not click.
