Starting a blog / register a domain name?
I need to start a blog. It will be a field. I want to ads on it, and it seems wordpress does allow ads? According to their website, but I see wordpress blogging works with all the ads of the time. Someone can be specified? Also, I'm not entirely sure how wordpress works? Just write -> Item -> Click -> Send a blog? I do not understand:) I'll register my domain name and hosting on Dreamhost, I chose this site not only for its features but Green is a friendly site that appeals to me. Can someone give me instructions step by step to get this ball? Have I missed any info? Thank you! * Encore once, I actually do not want to put ads on the subject. If 're on Dreamhost, they have an excellent one-click installation of Wordpress. Here are some of my notes. On the dashboard, click the Goodies. Then, select One Click Install. Indicate whether you want to install it easily and advanced. I advise you to tip. Select the blue button on Wordpress then scroll box "Install" what is right under all the software products. Fill the website. You will be creating a new database, then scroll to the section where it says to create a new database and fill the box with the name database, with respect to the site. Move by the host name and create a host mysql.url will. Create the first user, something like myname, then the password. Install this for me now. You get a notice of the installation and the password. You will also receive an email sent to you. Note all information and print the e-mail. Then join the site and start working. This will take you to the dashboard for the site. Take a minute or two to look around the site. You will notice the space Post to the right and the control area to the left. It should be one post, "Hello world!" Click on the abolition of that post, then discarded. Write a message and then save it. Then see. Watch the Tagus area and add a few keywords. Fly to the control area and looking for a theme you want to use. I use Barthelme, but you can use any theme you want. Select theme, activate it, then view the site.
