Need help please … Do I need to learn HTML and / or Java (script) to create a website where ads can be put?

I can use software such webeasy, Dreamweaver, etc. to create websites. But I think putting ads in good position and use the right kind of javascript code. As they provide an AdSense code to insert into the HTML websites. So I want to know that copying and pasting code work or I need to learn javascript / html And if there are other software to create website or other programs that can adsense simplify my need, please let me know … Thank you ..
