Is the size of the video file you download have no effect on the performance of the video when people try to look? Does size matter video file performance. I try to understand whether to stay with a smaller version of a file size or video appointment with a larger (HD) version of the same video. Is anyone watching the opinion of any difference in performance video to watch (other than the obvious, resolution) based on the size of the video file?
I would say it depends on what you download and if the resolution is important for your customer viewing experience. You can think of many people over the computer that will slow down the video. Some are still on the dial and have slow Internet connections. You can always do with a smaller HD go. I have some that I made 90% and the others that I did at 75%. There is not much of a difference between the two
In my humble opinion you have done almost everything wrong here. After 57 thousand angry comments on the blog, 9 thousands of comments on the video posting angry, dozens of anti-beta 'YouTube channels and online petitions against the change spread anywhere on the Internet, your response has been deafening silence, and help page still promises a July 15 forced migration date. This is completely inapparent person whether or not YouTube has noticed the agitation. So what happens? The forks are out, the voices are even louder and more angry and ASCII art on the blog becomes more and more desperate. Some users commented that they had reported the video "encourages to hatred or violence, "and this was no joke.
YouTube, I can not stress enough how you have handled this. For such gigantic site, you must have something resembling an idea of how to listen and interact with your users! The only thing you no harm is that you (apparently) did not censor any criticism. God thank you, or everyone would have been ballistic. You got that right by accident if, indeed, because it is completely typical of responses to the YouTube blog to be ignored.
Even if you respond now, damage has already been done. Users frustrated by the lack of response may have already gone to their forums and chat rooms all website and posted comments on the model of "YouTube suck. They continue to make changes and do not listen to stupid users." Because as long as you're not listening, we will tell anyone wants.
This does not reflect well on Google is. If ever there is a full-scale revolt against a change like Google, it seems that you / Google will be totally unable to deal with it. How can you expect to control one billion Internet users in anger? Although I do kind of fun and pleasure of the potential chaos of a mass uprising across the Internet Google, I suggest you get a clue. YouTubers have raised objections to the design of large new channels, magnified by the fact that users of the site general social resist and reject major changes to their pages, they are improvements or not. It's like getting up and finding someone start your car for another (newer) model overnight, while losing your toolbox and personally chosen seat covers (Analogy to the string backgrounds, etc..) You would feel outraged, right?
Finally: I * HATE the new channels. They are a functional regression and appearance in almost every sense. Some users prefer them, but because of complaints that almost nobody thinks that the change should be obliged as it is. You must help users angry that their anger will not disappear. It will be hidden for a while, but it will come flooding back a later date the next time there is a problem.
I saw a lot of you discuss that you are having problems downloading videos (MP4). Most of you mention that the "Download as MP4 button sometimes does not appear next to your videos, and if you can not upload your video
