How do I start a wiki site?
I'm looking to build a wiki site similar to Wikipedia, except for one subject. I do not think that this subject has been done with a wiki for the moment. Thank you for any assistance to these questions, even if you do not know all the answers. 1. Would I have to do any programming (HTML) or is there a basic model to download? Link to this model? 2. Would it be difficult to add Adsense? Is there a better advertising revenue and production in the medium and use a wiki? 3. Where are the best and cheapest accommodation a wiki site? 4. Should I write a lot of pages to make things happen, or that people are willing to start? Thank you very much.

The easiest way is to go to Wikia.com because they provide free hosting for wikis and you would not need to install the software yourself. They have staff available to assist you with your wiki. You should expect to write Most of the initial content yourself. People will not visit until there is something interesting for them to read about what to take.
