Free Online Business Cards Designer

My question concerns the sites that offer licensed images for printing?
My question Royalty Free Clip Art Images. I read that you can purchase royalty-free clip art and images on disk (or download) to use without restriction, commercial and private – on business cards, websites, albums and personal project. The only goal you can not use images without fee, is to start your own clip art business you have no right to resell or rent the clip art to others. So how does a company like Got Print (www.gotprint.com) and CauseKeepers offers licensed logos and images for the designer quickly? This is where you build your online business card. Is it because they sell maps Visit with the image, not the image itself? How could you be able to use the same image on a letterhead or a brochure? (Keeping in mind the article I read the Business Cards). Thank you ~
You will probably find that these companies have come to a sort of licensing deal with the owners of the logos involved – at least that's how it works normally in Scotland. If the legal owners and legitimate logo can not be established, a notice is (normally) printed / mounted in "conspicuous places" (ie somewhere where the owner have a legitimate chance to see and answer it) and if, after a period of time "(usually set by a court), the image question is deemed to be "CU" – not applicable copyright – and the user is authorized to use. If, however, after publication, that someone comes forward to claim ownership of that image, it would be a court to decide whether the period of "timely" and "conspicuous places" were sufficient or not. In other words, that's how the system works here. I suggest you get legal advice about this in your own jurisdiction to absolutely make sure you're in the right. Nobody needs disputes of any nature on the track! Hopefully this helps Scotland
