The interruption of postal service delivery on Saturdays?
I am for this idea. The mail we get the largest carriers are good. Businesses are closed on weekends (So do not send or receive mail), so having no delivery on Saturday will not affect our bills. The other mail most important is that we get invitations to family events, etc., and it will not hurt anyone to receive them, a day late. I say if it saves money and it is not absolutely necessary, that can reduce and end deliveries on Saturdays. In addition, it appears that the post office increases prices / Stamp almost every year – this is a stupid gesture. With online bill pay and free e-mail, etc., people use as their primary delivery service save money. More post office raised their prices, more people will pay / send more invoices / invitations will be sent via the web. I am sure that's what makes them to raise their prices first, but they increase prices, the more they will lose customers, no money.
You are 100% correct. They realize that too. That's why they want to end Saturday. If they get their way, you'll see it happen some time next year.
