Is this good for a beginner on profit from Google AdSense?

Wow that's great, it's a shame that your click through rate is too low for the amount of hits you got on your site. Try to make sure you put ads on each page, try to put an ad in the top, bottom and in the middle, add a little text saying "Sponsored Links" next to an add (which is legal according to the AdSense Terms and Conditions, check again if) that could add a little more incentive to click. You can also put a post somewhere on your page, once saying you earn enough money from AdSense, you take some of the ads, which gives some incentive to your visitors click!
