Tips for gettng more customers and keep those you have?
I feel I have exhausted all development plans on the market there, direct mail marketing, marketing internet. I have carefully developed a business plan, found my place and I think I did a good job of letting people know I'm here. People tend to flock to my site and thats all they do, flock. I know that this is normal for small businesses to go through this phase where the phones stopped ringing, the e-mail no longer comes within and people tend to stop there tracks before they reach you. Owners of small businesses, how did you overcome this? Anything I should try? What about my site, www.nickelsanddimes.biz? Is there anything I could improve this? Thank you for your reply
Hi Amy, You said that you had people flocking to the site, but obviously, nobody was interested in abandoning all cash for your services. I looked at the site and, at first I thought the site was perhaps still under construction, because I saw basically the same thing on each page. Many people do not want to scroll too far. I forgot what the statistics are for how long we can hold the attention someone, but only a few seconds, I remember that much, but do not remember if it is 10 seconds or 3.
