Why can not we use the sales agent as a double agent? Is it bad?

Many years back when Internet was not aware yes, you needed a buyer's agent to get MLS listing, information on market prices, etc., now Internet may give final list of all homes that are available for sale. These sites also gives information on homes that have sold recently in the vicinity of a house, size, etc., price, and some even give charts average sales price, median sales price, the number of dollars / sq.ft. Then you can call the listing agent and ask to show the house they have enrolled and they will be more than happy to show you can get references to the inspection of the House, mortgages, etc., your friends. Listing agent can also provide information on CDOM etc., after all this, if you ask the vendors agent to help you as a double agent, he / she will be more than willing to help you. Some may talk big things like ethics, etc., but the two agents work together when it comes to the Commission. Any comments?

My husband and I are looking for a Home to purchase and we will not use a double agent. Employment Officers to sellers is that the Commission as much as possible and that means the buyer is not fairly represented. We have a buyers agent. They look out for courses their own committee, but will not try to convince us of something or we walk. We wanted someone to work for us not the owner of the house present.
