Internet Marketing Interview Questions

What is the best way to approach the job market in search of employment?
I live in the West and people seem indifferent to obtain and / or upset when you come into their office and submit resume to see if there are jobs. But many jobs hope you apply and copy your resume online. Before being unemployed, I worked for 12 years and everything has been done by phone or in person. A job I was 10 I got through the Department of Labor and Employment is my coach a call and I had a interview. But today the Labour Department does not seem to push very hard to get people jobs. My question is what is the best way to seek employment in a very impersonal world of the Internet? What suggestions do you have to be a diligent job seeker as there are times I do get discouraged. I do everything I can.
