Moving to Internet / New Media Jobs?
Hello, I am contemplating moving to New York or Los Angeles to find work in Internet / new media, what would be a wise decision.? I am in the state of Florida, and I saw similar web jobs Florida, California for 60-80k, I know cost of living is very high, but that's where all the web companies are, NYC, LA, and San Francisco and always will be, in my opinion. I know that their competition is, but at least they would be more jobs, web jobs are scarce in Florida, compared to New York or San Francisco. Just look on Craigslist under Web Design / info. These skills are too specific for a small market like FL. Could a young professional (one couple years in web development, move to one of these areas and find work, because I can not find in Florida. (Have been finding a steady job for almost 2 years) I also understand their hard work on contract, but for me, to find other contracts would be easier to a big market like New York.
