Do open source CMS packages work with Dreamweaver?

Here is the situation. I do Internet marketing and bought Dreamweaver so I can download, manage and SEO on my website clients. However, some of my clients want to access their site to make updates to content modest. As they have no Dreamweaver (which would be too software for them anyway), I'm wondering if I can get a simple CMS integrated with their existing site. According to I can say, products like Website Baker CMS Made Simple and you can "build" a new site. Drupal and Joomla are perhaps too advanced, even if I know you can buy web site templates that use their respective .. CMS can be an option, but I think its too big for the customer to learn. All thoughts? Thank you.

If your customers do not want to add pages or blogs, the easiest option is to use an editing tool content. With a content editing tool that you put the tags in the field that you want to let your customers change. These tags are generally simple HTML comment tags with a special content recognized by the content editor. This content is editable by the client via their web browser. Adobe offers a solution built right into Dreamweaver. It is called InContextEditing. I tried their demo and it is easy to use incredibility / client friendly, in fact, it does not get much simpler than that! The disadvantage of this is that, although the service is initially free, Adobe plans to term charging monthly service fees. There are other less elegant solutions out there but they must do the job. An example is Snippet Master. If your customers need to make blogs, add pages, or to manage user registration, then you will need to use a CMS. With many CMS, template creation with Dreamweaver is difficult. In Joomla, Drupal, for example, create a custom theme from scratch is not a nontrivial exercise. However, there are some off the shelf models for the two systems that can meet your needs, and often it is just a matter of change the style sheets to get the police and color styles in an acceptable form. If you are willing to pay, there are many models available for Joomla! properly constructed, SEO friendly, and XHTML / CSS valid. Drupal has many models available for free on their website. Both Joomla and Drupal are mature. Joomla SEO is not out of the box amicable, there are extensions to create SEO friendly URL. Many of the new Joomla templates are XHTML and CSS valid, however, many extension to create code that is not. A better choice for you may MODx. I have not used it myself but I read MODx many positive comments and enthusiastic about it. MODx uses a tag-based templates. It does not lock you into any particular structure. Build your model (s) visual Dreamweaver as you would a static site, and add tags as necessary. From what I read, the construction of a site MODx is much faster than either Drupal or Joomla and flexibility in design can be a much better match for the SEO optimization of your client's site. Another option is Wordpress. It is a Dreamweaver extension that allows you to visually edit Wordpress themes in Dreamweaver. http://www.themedreamer.com/. Another Once I've never used it myself and a warning is at version 0.4, so I do not know how stable it is. Hope it helps!
