Is adblock stop sites for advertising revenues?
So I have adblock, an add-on for Firefox which can block ads, images and about the online content more text. I was wondering, if we do not see the ads the site still make money? Clearly they will not be any money for my click, but will they still get money for a point of view? I would think they could, since the announcement is still there, but again it does not go to me if .. I'd like to think I could block ads for a website, although I do not like, but use> _>
The ad companies pay other sites usually a basic fee plus a price per click, for example dollar for every 250 clicks (I just invented). The site you see is taken independently of the money you visiting the site or not, because of the cost of basis. If you click on the ads, they just do more. The ad companies only make money if you go to their site, then fill out or buy something.
