When online banking, how long does it take money to clear from one bank to another (UK)?
My friend £ 30 lent by the bank in line to buy an Xbox 360. The offer for the 360 ends May 30, so I'm receiving the payment by there. He sent the money from the bank NatWest online on Saturday, but its a holiday today and apparently it takes 3 business for money to erase. So if anyone has used online banking to send payments can you tell me how long it takes for the other person to receive payment. And also, if I receive the payment in time and get to the bank and put money in my bank, which will instantly go my bank account?? Thank you.
