Can someone help me, it's for a trip to Brazil to help kids?
Im going to Brazil, the Amazon to help children. Im building a school for them and teaching them English. Im going July 5th 2010.2 years now. Now I made my calculations and the trip will cost me £ 4000 and I 98 weeks (because I have paid in full 60 days before departure) to collect funds. That means I need to win atleast £ 40 a week, I already found a job so I can not get another, but I need another income, the. So Im thinking of opening a website selling stuff, online business, but what? someone can help with fundraising ideas and do you think people would be happy to make a donation?
If you are building the school with your own money and do not in any case already sponsored by any charitable organization or a business, then you might be better to approach that all schools in your area and ask them if children do want to get involved in raising funds that have been in regular flea markets and things (because boot sales too) and sponsored events, such as walking or swimming for the next 2 years.
