RISMEDIA, Oct. 6, 2009 In recent years I have been closely study, test and refine the online advertising for my business property. As with any new venture, it took me so long to identify the most effective methods to use online classified sites like Craigslist. Biggest Mistake # 1 – The time you post
The mistake I see agents doing their online advertising is announced at the wrong time. Almost all sites free online classified ads automatically after new top of page, thereby pushing down old messages. In other words, if you advertise to 6:00 am, your position has an increased risk of never being read by your target audience. In addition, if you live in a big city, there is a chance that your ad will not even be located on the first page before noon.

Unfortunately I learned this the hard way. For years, I woke up first thing in the morning and after my ads. Even if it appeared I received this mundane task road, in reality, most of my ads are not generating maximum exposure.

Secondly, I see many agents publishing their ads really late at night. In my experience, what happens at the second worst day in the mail. Think of it this way. To receive the best return on investment, you want to post your ads at times when most people are surfing on these sites. Personally, I found both lunch and dinner after work most effectively. However, it could still possibly vary for your area, so be sure to test these things first.

Biggest mistake # 2 – The same old same old
We all made the mistake of posting an ad that does that the rank and file property information, with a phone number. For example: – 3 bed, 2 bath ranch in Blank school district with full basement and 1 car garage on 1 / 4 acre. Call Joe at 123-456-7890. "Unfortunately, this kind of ad does not command the attention of the reader or give them a reason to get excited and take action. Therefore, you need to hang with an attractive title, while providing information that will truly motivate them to contact you.

Biggest Mistake # 3 – No real call to action
Similar to error # 2, it is essential include a real call to action when you write your ads (Tip – Call 123-456-7890 Joe is not a real call to action). Here are some examples better: for your free list of entries visit our website at www …, send us an email for your free list of houses Luxury in Miami, or call our 24 hour recorded message for more information about our home buyer for the first time.

In summary, I see many agents become discouraged and give up because they are wasting their time on the ads go unnoticed and generate response. However, the online classifieds are not the problem, but rather the kind of publicity. By avoiding these three big mistakes, you will begin to witnessed a much stronger response and increased flow of lead for your business.
