PHP MySQLi – Recommend learning materials?
I'm in the middle of the creation of two sites of small businesses (not functions of trade, at this stage, but will the user connections, downloads and updates of databases). Local Schools does not offer courses in PHP, and most online tutorials that really show you how to get the functionality without all the important security measures. Can recommend an online tutorial that covers PHP 5, or a text that I can buy? I'll be designing web pages in the future, so I'm looking for something that coverage of these issues (ie, sessions, security downloads, optimization) in detail and give me a first step towards becoming a pro at this kind things. (I have some programming experience, it need not be a "for dummies" kind of thing).
