Change your mind for success
My attitude got is missing so many opportunities it's really not funny.
If I had a different attitude in 2001, I would not be sitting here writing this to you now. I'd probably retire in a state of billionaire.
That when I started to dabble in the altogether Decision on the internet thing. I was just trying to make a few dollars here and there.
I know it's always 20/20 hindsight. However, if I could have my time again I would do things so differently.
At the time, it was all new to me, as for many of you. Consequently, it was exciting and fresh and mostly fun. I'd stay up all night working on my sites, stripping around this and that.
I loved him and he really did not want to work.
In most minds, it sounds like a good thing. But there is a basic problem with what can actually harm your quest for money online.
You see more of us are programmed to make two types of work. The work that we make money must be difficult. This is something serious and most of the time is neither fun nor you never want to do it for free.
Then there is the type of work which is nice. Normally, this would be regarded as leisure. This could be surfing, building model airplanes, photography, etc. This is the kind of work that may be difficult, but should not be and you do because you enjoy it.
So, you're programmed that if you're having fun, and you do not earn much or money to exercise, then it is simply a hobby.
Unfortunately, it is at the root of the failure of many people make big money online. They see it as a hobby.
The PROBLEMS with a mentality HOBBY
When dealing your business as a hobby, there are all sorts of negative side effects that you might imagine.One of my hobbies is playing golf.
This is The great thing about a hobby. If you fail, then it's OK. If you want to change leisure, so it's cool. If you spend all day and only get 1 or 2 shots great, then not much. The process was fun.
But this kind of mentality is dangerous if you want to have success in online business. If you are treating it as a hobby, you'll probably fail.
How To heal MENTALITY HOBBY once and for all
When you write about correcting the behavior of people wrong, it is easy to sound preachy. I am the first to admit that I do not do all these things and do not feel like I'm on my soap box here.
However, what motivates me is to encourage us all not to miss the amazing possibilities that we are still going through everyday life. I could go along in 2001, but I can guarantee you in 10 years we will wish to be back in 2010 saying that if only.
So, do all you can cope with this problem paradigm and make the most of what you have. Here are some strategies I have used successfully in the past and have taught students in my title = "Internet Coaching Program network marketing "of the Internet> Marketing Coaching Program.
Create an imaginary friend with billable hours
When have the mentality of a hobby, you have no respect for your time. When I play golf, I do not think about how many hours went into these two great pictures.
Do not let that creep into your business. A strategy I used is to create an imaginary client. The affiliate site I'm working on is not mine, but this imaginary customer. I know that for every hour I work on the site, I need to justify the time I spent as they pay for it.
No client in their minds will want to pay me for shooting the breeze for hours on Twitter and Facebook. If I can not prove that it is directly go positive return on investment, so I probably should not do.
I encourage you to do this seriously. Use the time tracking and software statement to make it real.
Set goals and deadlines
I can not stress enough the importance of setting goals and time on your projects. As Steve Jobs said, "Real artists ship." In other words, it is not art, unless someone else sees and uses.
If you do not have deadlines in place, you just keep refining and refining and never really "Ship".
You also need to work on time every day. I make a list each day consists of 3 parts Really.
1. You do not go home until it is done.
2. Important, make money working.
3. The long-term business building activities.
Using this priority system, I can assure that projects move forward, the money is made and the company larger image is built.
Performance objectives are also important. Goal setting is a vast subject to cover, and I do will not try to do here, however, it is essential if you want to see success.
Imposing Accountability
In addition the customer imagination, I encourage you to get accountability partners. This could be your life partner (wife, husband, etc.) or could be a kind of group brain.
Whoever it is, make sure they are on the same page and believe in you. Mastermind groups are excellent and whenever I fortunate to be involved in this kind of thing, it was extremely encouraging and helpful. Going to Congress Marketers may have a similar effect sometimes.
If you have a significant other, it is important that you involve them as much as you can. Share as much as you can with them, and celebrate the victories with them. Even if my wife does not know exactly how I do what I do after 8 years together, she knows enough to help me time disappointing, and join the party when I win. I could not do without it.
Mental Sticks
Much transfer part of your state of mind hobby for companies is to use indices mental as you can. There are several ways that you can do that. Including:
* Creating a dedicated workspace that is only for work.
* Create a time fixed each day is your working time.
* Dressing differently when you work. I know that sounds strange, however, a state of mind Business and pajamas just do not go together in my book.
* Give your business a name, and cards are made.
Write a Business Plan
A business plan does not need to be a document of 100 pages. One of my friends has 200 million dollar company and me helped write a business plan. He felt that it should not exceed 6 pages. That's all you need.
It is difficult to find the treasure map.
Reinvest in your business
I see people all the time to focus solely on sources free traffic. This is time to think small. I saw very few companies that have grown up not finally moved to pay for advertising. Usually Using PPC.

Of course, you do not need to do immediately. But I would encourage you to reinvest in your company as much as you can if you want to grow quickly.

Focus and recovery time lost
One of the biggest battles we all must line focus.We must master this in two main areas.
Project Focus
How often have you started something, not finished, and then went to something else. Almost everyone has done, some more than others. You must keep your business plan and execute what you're about to do. Remember, a magnifying glass will never set anything on if you continue to move.
Newsgroup
The day to day problems that many people face is maintaining focus on tasks. The Internet is the world's biggest distraction. Focus on the tasks at hand. Only it back on when you absolutely need.
If you use Firefox, then try to use an add-on called LeechBlock. I love it. It prevents me from visiting sites that can distract you during certain periods the day. When you try to go there, you can even customize a message that says "get back to work slacker! Time is money!"
Now … go find a job, he notes, and a black marker and paste this on your screen … "This is not a hobby!"
