Going to get a new car (Mitsubishi) and must bargain for advice?
Hello everyone, I went to a Mitsubishi dealer today test leads Lancer and loved. The price they quoted us was 20,115 with interest of 0.0%. We said we were going home to "think". Now, need advice as how to get that number down. We have heard people say to find a better price online or simply just state a number for them to match, take it or leave it. My plan was to make them give us two special "offer" they are happening now. It is 0.0% in April 1500 or refund, but I think forcing them to do both, or leave us. Sidenote: The Director stated he was very flexible and willing to adjust the price once we know sure we'll buy the car. I know it's just a marketing trick, but it seems that there may be some leeway. Tell them you saw the same car and I talked to another dealer (who is not affiliated with the broker) and tell him that they offered both. Then ask can beat this it offers. As you can tell him that you are looking for a different car, a Toyota or Honda or something and tell him a story about what it offers false.
