What is the best place to find work for those without diploma?
I am currently on a gap year before university and the difficulty in finding employment, as most items available on the top recruitment sites (monster, reed, fish4jobs etc.) are intended graduates. I'm not in desperate need of money, rather I'm looking for a job that provide good experience for after my graduation, and fundamentally good on my CV. I hope one day work in both statistics and research (social, media, political rather as market research) and so is ideally seeking employment in these sectors may also be a director / assistant / junior so nothing else is available. Does anyone know of a) all companies that hire for these types of jobs without a diploma, or b) a site that specifically addresses those without a degree? I am looking for sites based in the United Kingdom or companies, I live in the Southeast would be the Search for jobs in London or the counties.
I do not know the sites in the United Kingdom or of specific companies, but since you are more concerned by experience that money. Consider an internship or even volunteer work that is in your area. You do not get a paycheck to acquire skills and work experience. Any company would "work off" and be ready to leave do some statistical research once you have proven yourself.
