Do drug companies inventing diseases to sell drugs mental?
For example – In 1999, shyness has become a mental illness called social phobia! SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline) received FDA approval to market the SSRI antidepressant Paxil as a treatment specific social phobia. They hired a public relations firm that marketed the disease rather than drugs to gain the attention of major media. What do you think? Are you someone who was helped by Paxil? If no, would you ever consider taking a drug to combat shyness cons? Or do you, as I do, it's yet another example of drug companies to invent a mental illness to make money? I am not angry, "" I'm not shy, and I have never been treated for mental illness. I try to make a point before 1999, be was shy shy. Then, a pharmaceutical company being shy in a mental illness! Why can not people be allowed to have a personality trait, and it is treated as a disease?
First and foremost wasn't just given Paxil for shyness social! It goes much further away then that! social shyness is not a disorder as you say! I was marked in the direction of the system I 5! There is no miracle pill to cure shyness social! But there are things to help people who are afraid to leave the house there! Scared Of social situations! Afraid that someone wants to get them, etc. … I take Paxil among three other drugs! I take Paxil for ANTIDEPPRESANT! And yes it works! I do not know not told you this drug was to help shyness, BUT THAT ISN'T RIGHT! It is about helping people with complex rules of departure driving, social life! DO YOUR RESEARCH before you stick your foot in your mouth!
