Free Internet Marketing for psychologists and other therapists
It may surprise you that more research for therapists that occur online by the Yellow Pages. Many therapists have already abandoned the Yellow Pages to be expensive and no results. Marketing yourself is a public service. That means letting people know how you can be at their service. It will greatly increase your presence and legitimacy beyond having your profile listed in different places. You can quickly create a simple website. You want to present information that speaks to the pain of those customers you want most to see. This will attracting your "ideal client" much more than if you describe yourself as someone "who provides a friendly safe place," the wisdom so conventional is that your content is 80% on the customer and 20% on yourself.
Do not wait until you provided a perfect site. Better to have a functional site up as soon as possible. Websites are dynamic entities. Linksforshrinks.com is a site for therapists. Part of the impetus was to have another legitimate site where you could have a link to your site (the more links to your site, the better Google will find your site). As a self-professed author, it would greatly behoove Mr. Miller to give this article another read-through, because it is grammatically and syntactically abysmal! Or have someone else read it….the first 5 sentences alone are filled with errors!
