Communications major question!!! Which area best suits me?
Hi, I would really appreciate it if someone helped me out. I’m a communications major, but I can’t decide which area in communications I’d be most suited for, based on what I love and my personality.
I absolutely love the media. I am very outgoing and friendly. I love to plan events/social gatherings. I get passionate about products and people always tell me I should be a spokesperson for it lol. I am creative. I love to meet people and can start up a conversation with anyone. I love editing videos. I am good at maintaining a great self image. I’m hard working, love to stay busy, and dependable.
based on what I’ve told you about me, which area in communications? (ex.marketing, television, film event planning, advertising, public relations) I’d really appreciate your insight and advice! thank you!
I am actually finishing my broadcasting degree next semester and I would say possibly television. It’s such a broad area where you can do just about anything like editing videos, producing, on air talent. Maybe a reporter??? Always meeting new people, going different places and different and exciting stories you’d cover. But the decision is ultimately up to you! Good luck!
